Black Poppers se forme fin 2008 avec pour idée maîtresse ENERGIE et GROOVE.

 Les membres se rencontrent lors de soirées JAM et décident de proposer leur vision du rock n roll en faisant valoir une expérience déjà acquise. Ainsi, Pat et Chico (guitare et batterie, Shaman Tribu), Mat (ex chant, Dream Fool Disease) et yo (basse, session de studio) commencent le live mi 2009, notamment en premières parties de ADAM BOMB (usa) et ROYAL SPLEEN.

 Le premier album attendu, MO JO, sort en décembre 2010 et propose 9 titres inédits, dans la grande lignée du rock N roll, de Chuck berry à Queen of the stone Age.
En 2011, Black Poppers ouvre pour MASS HYSTERIA en février. 
Le maxi '4 Dirty songs for fun and profits' sort le 21 décembre 2012 comme l'avait prédit les incas. En découlera un clip 'let's move' en 2013.
Début 2014, Lio remplace Yo à la basse et les Blacks sont repartis pour un tour.
Mai 2016, sortie de l'EP 6 titres "Unwanted songs" en numérique, Vinyle et K7.
Le nouvel album 12 titres "Coke Tale 9.0" sortira en janvier 2020.

Black Poppers was created late 2008 with the main ideas of Power and Groove. 

Members meet at jam sessions and decide to offer their own vision of Rock n Roll, arguing an already gained experience. So, Pat and Chico (Guitars and Battery from Shaman Tribu) Mat (Vocals, ex Dreamful Disease) and Yo (Bass Studio) start their live experience mid 2009, specially with ADAM BOMB (USA) and ROYAL SPLEEN.

The awaited debut album MO JO was released in December 2010 and offers 9 new Tracks in the great lineage of Rock n Roll, from Chuck Berry to Queens of the stone age.
In 2011, Black Poppers opens for Mass Hysteria in February.
The record '4 Dirty songs for fun and profits' was released in 2012, the 21st of December as expected by the Incas. In 2013, the video clip "Let's move" was shot. At the beginning of 2014, Yo (the bassist/ bass player) was replaced by Lio. Ladies and Gentlemen:The Blacks are back!
May 2016, EP release of 6 songs « unwanted songs » in digital, vinyl and K7 versions.

The new album of 12 songs « coke tale 9.0 » will be released in january 2020
